Yea! Creative Team Thursday’s are back and I am so excited for this week!
I first met Carlene Thomas RD through Making Things Happen (I can’t wait to share more about this soon) and we were introduced to each other as AP’s. AKA Accountability Partners or just straight up Awesome People! I could not have been more excited! She is headed towards big things, I absolutely love her heart and she is as cute as a button!
Carlene is a registered dietitian and the brains behind Heathfully Ever After! She has set out to teach brides how to change their eating habits for the rest of their lives, and not just revert to a crash diet for a wedding day quick fix. Personally learning the importance of healthy eating from my Miss Oklahoma days, from trainer and owner of Results Fitness, Brian Attebery, I know how vital healthy eating can be to a diet. Working in the wedding industry I also see that brides get lost in the abundance of easy access “diets” on the internet while planning a wedding. While these diets are crash diets and only a temporary fix Carlene brings a fun, fresh approach to this area!
Her blog is full of wonderful recipes like honey whisky popcorn, boozy mini milkshakes and asian shrimp and noodle collared green wraps (and that’s just on the first page y’all!) along with fun tips and some of her favorites! I love her description of what Heathfully Ever After is (on the bottom of this page): chic bites, pencil skirts with color and sparkle, and having a wedding bouquet with vegetables and flowers to name a few.
